Pelvic sonogram


A pelvic sonogram examines the female reproductive organs, including the uterus, ovaries, tubes, and vagina. Limited views of the bladder, adjacent bowel, and the right upper quadrant are also obtained. Typically, the examination is performed using a combination of both transabdominal and transvaginal methods.
